Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager is a full-time role located in Durham, NC. This person will be responsible for leading TruLab’s implementation efforts across multiple clinical drug trials simultaneously. Primary responsibilities will include leading projects through the development of project plans, managing customer relationships, and coordinating the activities between various teams and resources. This includes facilitating the day-to-day operations and interactions of both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of a full project lifecycle. Position Overview: The Assistant Director, Legal & Compliance is a full-time role located in Durham, NC.  This individual will be a driving force in helping us grow our company. Responsibilities will be very broad and dynamic and will involve all aspects of business law and compliance including: review of legal agreements; administration and maintenance of company policies, SOPs, and associated documentation; internal auditing efforts; administration of internal training; management of vendor quality assessments and audits; and compliance with applicable data privacy and protection laws (e.g., GDPR). This individual will work closely with the TruLab quality and executive teams and will report to the leadership team of TruLab. We are looking for candidates who can identify legal issues, give them due consideration within the context of the company’s broader business priorities, and propose appropriate solutions.  Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and non-hierarchical environment. Ideal candidates will learn quickly, execute with excellence, and possess excellent organization and communication skills. What You’ll Do:
  • Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, such as SaaS agreements, service level agreements, master service agreements, SOWs and NDAs,
  • Review other materials as needed, such as billing documents, and marketing collateral.
  • Administer IT security and data protection training for internal staff, archive documents as needed, and recommend additional training to keep staff informed on needed topics,
  • Update TruLab’s internal policies and SOPs on a regular basis, and create new policies and SOPs as required.
  • Perform internal audits and other assessments of compliance with policies and SOPs.
  • Work with clients and prospective clients on their vendor quality assessments and audits of TruLab.
What You’ll Need:
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant legal experience, as either in-house or outside counsel
  • A Juris Doctor from a U.S. law school accredited by the American Bar Association
  • A current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Status as an active member, in good standing, of the state bar in which you are licensed to practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract, commercial, and corporate law.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the transactions, processes and legal issues associated with SaaS businesses. Knowledge and understanding of the clinical research / clinical trials industry and of the regulations relating thereto are highly desirable
  • A strong attention to detail

This individual will execute on implementation activities including study setup, client onboarding, clinical site onboarding, product configuration, training, and support. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer. What You’ll Do:
  • Lead a growing team of Product Analysts
  • Manage client relationships with project lead counterparts
  • Closely manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate internal resources in product, implementation, and support to ensure success of client onboarding, training, and support
  • Provide regular progress reports for each project
  • Communicate upsell opportunities to the sales team
  What You’ll Need:
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership and teambuilding
  • Highly organized, can juggle multiple testing projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, financial services, etc.) and/or knowledge of FDA Quality Regulations (21 CFR Part 11, GxP) is a plus
